Dino is a young piggy with an amazing shiny fur coat, due to carrying the satin gene. Unfortunately, guinea pigs with this gene may develop Satin Syndrome, shortening their lifespan and causing them to develop multiple painful progressive conditions like kidney disease, deformed bones, arthritis, difficulty eating, and chronic pain. He will stay under AGPR care so we can watch for these conditions and treat them as soon as they come up, hopefully giving him the best and longest high quality life he can have!
